Clatter: Enhance Community Wellbeing

I joined the Clatter team as an independent UIX designer to create meaningful relationships within the communities. Clatter aims to encourage users to get on, find like-minded people who enjoy the life and are curious about the world, and get off the app shaking their legs and meeting each other.

Design Research

After analysing the Apps on the market, we determined our goal: creating an UGC platform that makes users feel positive, intimate, friendly and inclusive when getting in touch to people in the same community.

Community-Centered

Easy to discover the events around you, or organise on-going activities and invite neighbours.

Create Meaningful Relationships

Encourage users to interact, communicate and maintain a relationship with each other within the app.

A brainstorming session helped us gain insights and empathise the potential user with user stories. I created personas based on the insights from need analysis and organised a concept map session to defined functions and features. From there, I started to shape the app solution.

Encourage users to choose a nearby place. Create an event with pre-filled fields and image.

Contact Your Neighbours within the App After Events

An easier and safer way to contact the friends you meet once in the events without exchanging any personal contact information.

User Testing

I organised three rounds of user testing to gain the feedback about the App usability and market potential. Methodologies include ThinkAloud, Cognitive Walkthrough, Semi-structured interview, questionnaires, etc.

Next Step

Accordance to Clatter Go-to-market strategy, we will design couple of campaigns to encourage early adopters.
